DIY WRAP BRACELETS

September 01, 2012

Today I will show you how to make these wrap bracelets. I think they are really fun and easy to wear and they add a nice pop of colour to an outfit. You can make them to your own preference of colour, length and style and the best thing is that they are super easy to make! It's also a great little birthday present or gift to your best friend. So let's go ahead and get crafty!

What you need
  • Suede cording
  • Scissors
  • Crimper tool
  • Tape
  • 1 Clasp
  • 2 Small jump rings
  • 2 Cord tips

Take the string and wrap it around your wrist twice to measure out the length of the bracelet and cut it at the desired length.

Now cut two more pieces of the same length for the braid.

Now put the three pieces together in one of the cord tips and squeeze both sides down using the crimper to secure the strings.

Now secure this on a flat surface with a piece of tape and seperate the strings so you can easily start braiding.

Start making a normal braid all the way down and try not to twist the strings so you can create a nice and even braid.

When you have fnished the braid all the way down, get your second cord tip and secure it at the end of the braid.

Grab your scissors and cut off the pieces of string that are sticking out.

Now open one of the rings a bit so you can put it through the end of the cord tip and close it again. Repeat this step on theo ther side only add the clasp before you close the ring...

And there you have it!

I hope you enjoyed this DIY!
